Joe Giacomet
Biography

Joe began his career in 2006 after graduating from studying photography. Already shooting for editorial clients and record labels he started assisting advertising photographers in London, developing his technical knowledge and working for some of the biggest photographers, both in the UK and abroad.

Joe was picked up for representation in 2011 whilst still assisting and shot his first ‘big’ ad for Natwest & M&C Saatchi that same year. He hasn’t looked back since working internationally for some of the best agencies and a diverse range of brands such as Sony, Sainsbury’s, Louis XIII Cognac, The FCA, BBC, L’Oreal, Avios and Royal Mail.

In addition to his commissioned work Joe has created many ambitious pieces of personal work, including parodying Tretchikoff's Chinese Girl which was exhibited at Jealous, one of London’s trendiest galleries as well as the Royal Academy’s Summer Show in 2018.

Joe has won a variety of awards for his work over the years including wining the location category for Professional Photographer of the Year in 2012, as well as being featured in a number of photography magazines. Over the years his work has matured and his love for artistic output mixed with technical expertise has become apparent in what has grown to be his own distinct style.
