BIOGRAPHY
Originally a Cambridge native Kirstin Sinclair is an accomplished freelance assignment photographer and contributor at Getty Images and a published author, she specialises in Fashion, Beauty, Street Style and Events and currently lives in East London.
Kirstin spent the first 8 years of her career shooting documentary photography at the international catwalk shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris for British Elle magazine. This work inspired the publication of her book 'A Front Row Seat' published in November 2011 by ACC Publishing including a foreword written by supermodel Erin O'Connor. The book launched alongside an exhibition 'Catwalk to Cover' at the Fashion and Textile Museum in London the same year, Kirstin helped curate the exhibition that exhibited her work as well as the work of three other established photographers from the catwalk industry, Catwalk to Cover has since gone on to tour even traveling as far as New Zealand.
The book and exhibition caught the attention of the world renowned visual media company Getty Images, as a result Kirstin is now a well known contributor and assignment photographer for Getty and has been working for them for the last 8 years. She has continued working at fashion weeks around the world specialising in street style, arrivals and backstage and with her considerable experience in the entertainment space also regularly covers major industry events such as Royal Ascot, Red Women of the year, In-store events, parties and the red carpet for clients including Louis Vuitton, D.S Autos, Burberry, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Yohji Yamamoto and Escada.
