Alexander Hoyles is a commercial and fine art photographer based in Scotland and working across the UK.
Interested in the balance between the uncanniness that comes with freezing a moment in time, and the ability of that same process to capture the essence of things;
Alexander loves to engage with the entire creative process, working with clients from initial discussion and conception of ideas, through development and production to the final execution and delivery of imagery.
I absolutely love photography, I guess every photographer says that, so let me explain.
Photography, and particularly food photography is my passion, largely because I love food and also because I was a chef in the Royal Navy for a decade. Being a chef fuelled my passion for food and allowed me to create dishes that crews wanted to eat with their eyes as well as their stomachs, even on a warship.
I have been shooting commercial action and lifestyle photography for over 25 years now, working in some of the world's finest locations. From fashion shoots on the glaciers of Switzerland to fly fishing in the mangroves of Cuba.
Emmanuel was born in 1977 in Saumur (loire valley). Grew up in Rochefort/Mer torn between his two passion, music and photography, he decided for the second as a career. In 1997, he served during his military time in Paris at the etablissement cinematographique et photographique des armees. This job led him to work closely with the french government.
Advertising, fashion and portrait photographer since ‘92, I worked for major brands and magazines, co-created ad campaigns with clients and worked with large production teams in London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles. In January 2020, I partnered with Aude Monier to form a creative corporate photography duo we named Les Corpographes, in Paris. We also teach brand employees to better their image-making skills to be a better part of their company’s brand image-building team.
I’m a London based fashion and portrait photographer, otherwise known as a photographic problem solver! I’ve been working for over fifteen years solving photo briefs varying in complexity. Thinking on my feet, I’ve created cinematic, confident, elegant and considered images for advertising campaigns including Specsavers, Hugo Boss and Radley London and Michael Kors, editorial for L'Officiel and portrait commissions for the Times, as well as personal projects, in London and all over the world as I love to travel.
